China’s Commerce Ministry has recently banned imports of North Korean gold and rare earths and exports to the country of jet fuel and other oil products used to make rocket fuel, a move in line with new United Nations sanctions on Pyongyang.

The Security Council unanimously passed a resolution in early March expanding U.N. sanctions aimed at starving North Korea of funds for its nuclear and ballistic missile programs after Pyongyang conducted a fourth nuclear test in January and launched a long-range rocket in February.

The mining sector is a key part of North Korea’s economy, which is already largely cut off from the rest of the world. Experts believe revenue from the sector helps underwrite North Korea’s military expenditures.

About time, to let go off liability, the world is better when reasons prevail, with the Chinese as backbone of a recalcitrant regime in Pongyang. A repressive dynasty passed down the line, over decades
You may not be able to imagine how a single family, has successively transferred power along family lineage, then the question, what manner of people are there in North Korea
Bringing back the memories of the Doc family in Haiti, from papa to baby doc, talking about the Duvalier family, or the Nguesso’s in Gabon, Kabilas of Zaire, just to mention the share of African part of non monarchical regimes, understandable, if it is

Back to the lessons of the Chinese initiative, which should be noted as not being easy or voluntary but, a result of international pressure on the government in Beijing

When the world comes together to speak with one voice, the benefits with advantage could be immense, Beijing has been the one propping up the Kims in North Korea bolstering their defiance of world order

may not surprise anyone that, China buckled when Pongyang decided to turn it’s arsenal on mainland China, North Korea government was reported to have threatened China recently, making bold to say it could also attack China, it’s one and only ally in crime, what a turn of fate, what madness you might ask, the Chinese probably perceived a very serious threat from an unstable personality in a probable surrogate, call it a case of tail wagging the dog

It was actually the wake up call for the Chinese without any other choice besides uniting with the rest of the world, to call the madness in Pongyang to order
